Insurance
Some patients have insurance coverage for infertility evaluations and/or treatments. To find out if you have coverage, you might be able to check with your human resources department or you can just call your insurance company directly. If you are confused or not sure of your coverage even after calling, don’t worry, you are not alone. Insurance coverage can be really confusing and that is why we have insurance experts to help you figure it out. They will go through your coverage with you in detail until you have a full understanding of what’s ahead.
Different treatments mean different costs
If in-vitro fertilization (IVF) is too expensive, there are other less expensive treatments like ovulation pills and intrauterine insemination. After meeting with the fertility doctor, you might find that you are a good candidate for these treatments and don’t need IVF after all.
Consider Mini-IVF
Sometimes less is more. If you need IVF but would like to keep costs down, mini-IVF might be an option for you. Mini-IVF uses less medication to stimulate the ovaries. By using less medication, you can decrease your expenses. However, if you have to undergo multiple mini-IVF cycles to get pregnant, your total payment could end up being higher than regular IVF.
Financing
RHWC has partnered with a few trusted fertility financing companies that can help you finance the costs of infertility treatments. The applications are straight forward and if approved, there are customizable loan programs to meet your individual needs. Loan specialists at these companies will work with you individually to make sure you understand all of your options.
